Getting to Los Amigos from Estación Sur Bus Station:

· Metro is again the best way to go:
- if you are coming to SOL, take line inside the Atocha train station ("Atocha Renfe" stop) and go 4 stops to the "Sol" station and exit the Metro. Come up to street level. There are many different exits; choose the "calle Mayor” exit. When you come up to street level, at your right hand you will find the starting of calle Arenal, make a left and keep walking down it away from the Puerta del Sol and SOL is at Calle Arenal #26 (on your right hand side). The hostel is located on the 4th floor and there is an elevator for your convenience.

- if you are coming to "OPERA", take line (circular line) one stop to "Pacífico". Change to line and head in the direction of "Plaza Castilla". Get off after 6 stops at "Sol" and change to line and go one stop in the direction of "Cuatro Caminos" to "Opera". Get off at "Opera". When you get to the top of the metro exit steps, turn 90 degrees to your left and spot the Burger King across the Plaza de Isabel II. Cross the plaza and head up "Calle Campomanes" which is the street that goes up the left hand side of the Burger King. "OPERA" is at #6 of "Calle Campomanes", on the right hand side of the street about half way up. The hostel is located on the 4th floor and there is an elevator for your convenience.

If you are coming by Taxi:
While in a perfect world taxi drivers would all be honest and charge you the correct fair, Madrid is far from perfect with respect to this subject. A taxi from the Estación Sur Bus Station to Los Amigos should not cost more than 10 Euros. Always ask for an official receipt before paying.
